The Seven-Night Sleep Reset
✦
A week-long, low-effort plan to fall asleep faster and stop waking at three in the morning.

Sleep is the foundation everything else is built on. If you are waking exhausted, start here before you change anything else about your routine.
Nights one to three: anchor the clock
Pick a wake time and keep it every day, including weekends. Get outdoor light within thirty minutes of waking.
Stop caffeine eight hours before bed. For most women that means nothing after lunch.
Nights four to five: cool and dim
Lower the bedroom temperature and dim the lights an hour before bed. Screens on the lowest brightness, or better, out of the room.
Eat your last real meal two to three hours before sleep so digestion is not competing with rest.
Nights six to seven: the wind-down
Build a twenty-minute sequence you repeat in the same order: warm shower, herbal tea, three pages of journalling, five slow breaths in bed.
If you wake at 3 a.m., do not check the time. Lengthen your exhale and let the body drift back rather than solving problems in the dark.
Sleep responds to rhythm more than to willpower. Same wake time, morning light, dark evenings.
